Our two kids, Jody and Scott, are doing something really neat

They are heading up an effort � Harrisburg�s first Walk to D�Feet

On this project, they are working extra long and hard

To bring in money to beat ALS by the foot and by the yard

You are here today with the Phildaelphia and Hershey crew

To form the best team to do this job that anyone ever knew

We are proud of all that has been accomplished so far.

But we know that you will produce more than what has been par.

It was my dream when I was told that I had ALS to go to work

To help find the cause and the cure; from this I will not shirk

To prevent others from my family and all of yours

From ever having this mean disease without thought of cures

To bring in sponsors for the Walk from across the land

And now you are here to help make this Walk a rousing success
